Abstract. Recently China has become more assertive in its foreign policy whereas previously the PRC preferred not to interfere much into international issues and solve its inner problems. Hard to say that there are less urgent matters in China but now it is trying to interact as an active and responsible player. This article analyzes contemporary China’s foreign policy strategy taking into account new international and domestic conditions.
